Custom Illustrated Recipes: Special Birthday Offer!
Illustrating a recipe takes a cherished heirloom recipe out of the box, and puts it on display in our daily lives as a reminder of the people, places, and memories connected to the dish.
They make great gifts for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, weddings, Christmas, birthdays, or to honor a loved one’s memory after they’ve passed. And, of course, you can always hang them in your own kitchen.
“I'm absolutely obsessed with this piece. I'm SO grateful to see my beloved recipe taken to such a new and exciting place by your creativity and love. Mom and I opened it yesterday and it made her cry. Wow...you totally nailed it in every way and more.”
– Mollie Rose
I use archival ink and a mix of media (watercolor, gouache, or oil paints) to create each 8”x10” art piece on thick, watercolor paper. Order the original artwork by itself, or add on high-quality art prints to share with the whole family. You can request prints with your initial order, or come back and purchase them at any time.
My birthday is comin’ in hot on June 15th, and I thought I’d do a little something fun! If you order a Custom Illustrated Recipe before 11:59pm on June 15th, you get $15 off.
To raise the stakes, if I sell 10 Illustrated Recipes before my birthday ends, I will donate $100 toward Wayfinding Academy’s Community Scholarship Fund.
Making these pieces of art for you and your family is truly a gift for me, and I would love to be given the opportunity!

"The illustrations are AMAZING. I was looking at them with [my daughter], pointing out how the colors will match her grandma's kitchen, and she said without prompting, 'and the lemons are like her plates!' I can't wait to frame these and give them on Mother's Day. Thank you thank you."
timing & deadlines
***Due to an expected high volume of birthday orders, this timeline is subject to change, though I will do my best to be timely. If you hope to have the art piece by a specific date, let me know so I can make sure to get it to you on time.***
Once you’ve completed both steps, I'll send you a sketch within four business days. This is my chance to clarify any questions and your chance to make any final suggestions.
After you give me a 'thumbs-up' on the sketch, I'll get out my paints, ink, and paper and create your original work of art within six business days.
Please note that it takes time to make custom art, so plan accordingly. Creation of your artwork will take about 2-3 weeks, depending on your response time to clarifying questions and the initial sketch. After that, you can budget up to 3 weeks for shipping outside of the EU, up to 2 weeks for shipping within the EU, and up to 1 week for shipping in Denmark.
“Thank you so much for the wonderful illustration of my Oma's recipe. It is beautiful and means so much for me to have this to display.”
